The Rev. Dr. G. Timothy Johnson, Assisting Pastor

After graduating from college in 1958, I went to seminary fully intending to become a parish minister. While in seminary I became captivated by the world of medicine and several years later started medical school fully intending to become a family doctor. While working as an emergency room physician in the Boston area I very accidentally became involved with the ABC affiliate, WCVB TV - which led to my joining ABC News full time in 1984. During all our time in Boston, since 1971, we have been members of Community Covenant Church in West Peabody. It is our spiritual home and I am pleased to volunter some time as an Assisting Minister on its staff.
