- Is your worship contemporary?
All good worship is contemporary but our worship service tends to be
more traditional though we are always looking for ways to experience
God through different venues. Pastor Joel is a mere 36 years old, so we
are, in many ways, even post-contemporary.
- What denomination are you?
We are part of the
Evangelical
Covenant Church of America which traces its roots to the
Swedish Lutheran Church. To learn more, please see our
links page.
- Do you have any ministry for single
peoples?
We affirm singleness and we fully incorporate singles into all aspects
of our worship service.
- What do you offer for children?
- A vibrant two-teacher/class Sunday school program
from
Sept. to June that meets from 9:45 – 10:45 and includes
music/singing time for all ages.
- Childcare during church from nursery up through
kindergarten.
- Junior Church which starts half way through the
church
service and is for children ages 1st grade – 4th grade.
- Confirmation classes are offered in a two-year cycle
to
students in Middle School.
- Children’s choir which sings frequently in
church.
- Pathfinders (grades 1 & 2), Trailblazers

month. See schedule.

- Do you have to be Swedish to be a part of
this church?
Ya, det ar bra, no, just kidding. Although we have a subtle Swedish
flavor to our church (The Scandinavian Fair in November, coffee at any
and all gatherings, and some hymns in Swedish in our hymn book) we are
very proud that our community boasts a diverse background and we
welcome any and all who confess Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord
regardless of their ethnological background.
