We believe the Bible to be the Word of God and the only perfect rule
for our faith, doctrine and conduct. The Word of God is
“spirit and life” and therefore requires of each of
us a spiritual and living response. This response involves a personal
commitment to Jesus Christ and to following him.
We seek to transcend theological
differences through Christian fellowship, which is the gift of the Holy
Spirit. We observe the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s
Supper. We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for the whole
person and the whole world. This concern for wholeness finds expression
in evangelism, Christian education, caring for persons in need and the
missionary task. We welcome into membership all who confess Jesus
Christ as Savior and Lord.
