        "Hope"

Hope is the color of the blue sky after a summer storm
It sounds like a chorus of a thousand voices
And tastes like cool water at the end of the race
It smells like freshly cut grass
It looks like new snow
And makes me feel alive

Hope is the color of the brilliant morning sun
It sounds like a child's laughter
And tastes like fruit salad in summer
It smells like the ocean
It looks like the face of an infant
And makes me feel like I can reach the stars

Hope is the color of a lush green valley
It sounds like the win blowing through the trees
It tastes like pink lemonade
And smells like soap
It looks like a daughter, reunited with her Father
And makes me realize that darkness must give way to daylight

Hope is the blood that washes away the sins of the lost, the difference between life and death.

"Until Then..."
I have hope. I have hope for the hopeless, children of God who are waiting for Him. I have faith. I have faith in the hand who is holding the hearts of the children of God, waiting for Him. I have peace. I have peace in the knowledge that one day He will return, and until then I will wait, a child of God, hopelessly in love with Him.

Hope that's good enough!

         *joy*

Joy, a peace in which the heart can reside, where, despite the pain, you know there's a tomorrow, despite the tears, the sun will rise, in the morning, and despite the darkness of the valley, Daylight will come soon.
